On May 1st and 2nd, Hanson International Academy organized its biggest orientation ever. There was an incredible turn out with well over 250 new students in attendance.
Students were welcomed by the Campus Director – Chris Velasco, and he introduced the school to all those in attendance. After a brief introduction to the administrative team, Associate Director Dawn Cunningham Hall guided the students through the registration process, and they officially became students of Hanson International Academy. Students were given academic survival tips by the Academic Manager, Erin Kourelis before being given a tour of the beautiful campus and its surroundings. As part of the campus tour, students were encouraged to participate in a Scavenger Hunt to help them know more about our facilities. Senior students and peer mentors were in attendance to guide new students.
During the course of the day, students received their class schedules, met their classmates, ate a catered lunch and were prepared for academic and social success at Hanson. The staff and faculty are very excited to welcome all the new students to the campus.
